Simon Alexander began with a simple preference: design things properly, make them well, and don’t compromise either one to hit a price.

Simon is a diamantaire — author of A Diamond Truth — and the designer behind the boutique. He leads every piece from first concept to finished ring: the design and the stone selection are his, and the ring is Australian made. It's designed in our Adelaide boutique and comes out of our workshop, built around the diamond you choose — natural or lab-grown, certified either way. Designing it ourselves is the point of the place: it means a ring can be built around an unusual stone, an inherited diamond, or an idea that doesn’t have a setting yet, instead of being forced into one that was never meant for it.

The work leans architectural. Proportion over decoration, line over flourish, restraint treated as a discipline rather than a shortage of ideas. It draws as much from design and art as from traditional jewellery — a sensibility shaped by years working and travelling through Japan, the United States and beyond.
